About the role
- Payroll Specialist managing end-to-end payroll for Swedish operations, ensuring compliance with collective agreements and payroll legislation. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and enhancing payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll for the assigned business area, including preparation, validation, execution, and post-payroll activities
- Handle payroll calculations related to shift work and varying schedules
- Ensure compliance with the Swedish transport collective agreement (Transportavtalet)
- Ensure that payroll inputs such as salary changes, bonuses, absences, and deductions are accurately processed
- Perform payroll reconciliations and controls to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with Swedish payroll legislation, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation and provide support during audits when required
Requirements
- Relevant education within payroll
- 5+ years of experience working with end-to-end payroll
- Experience working with collective agreements, preferably with Transportavtalet
- Experience working with blue-collar employees
- Fluent in Swedish and English
