About the role
- HR Generalist managing core HR functions for fintech company INFINIT based in Madrid. Enhancing employee experience and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employee questions, feedback, and concerns
- Support initiatives to enhance employee experience, satisfaction, and engagement
- Help implement and maintain company culture and values through HR practices
- Support the People & TA Lead on recruitment efforts across ES, FR & UK
- Working on strategic workforce planning efforts with the TA Lead to ensure an efficient talent acquisition strategy is in place
- Coordinate onboarding logistics including paperwork, systems access, and first-week orientation
- Facilitate off-boarding processes including exit interviews and system deactivations
- Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
- Assist with benefits administration, leaves of absence, and policy interpretation
- Support audits and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure HRIS accuracy and contribute to process improvements such as workflow automations in order to improve operational efficiency
- Support company-wide communications and policy updates
- Assist with employee recognition programs and internal events
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Coordinator role
- In-house or agency recruitment experience
- Experience in a Tech or fast-paced environment is preferred
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals, general process and employment law
- Experience using HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English is a must
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion
