Requirements
College degree in actuarial science, mathematics or related field
Minimum of 5 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams
4+ years of relevant work experience in an actuarial role
Calculating quarterly rate indications for liability heavy lines and completing pricing studies
Analyzing competitor rating algorithms and making change recommendations
Assisting with the evaluation of loss reserves
Overseeing the building of rate books and rate specification documents for all lines of business
High level of organizational and analytical skills with good attention to detail
