About the role
- Global Quality & Reliability Intern analyzing product quality data and enhancing processes at Celestica. Collaborating with global teams to develop operational insights and support quality programs.
Responsibilities
- Collect and organize product quality and reliability data from manufacturing and engineering teams, construct databases
- Analyze data and derive conclusions via statistical analysis
- Leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate routine analytical workflows, such as script generation (VBA/Python) and visualization
- Create operation reports for Celestica's operations and engineering teams
- Collaborate with Global Quality operations worldwide to achieve all objectives
- Participate in Global Quality programs deployment and support
- Participate in teleconferences, meetings with global counterparts
- Create and update website content and produce quality communications for the sites
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a University internship program and have completed their 3rd year of studies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Programming skills in VBA or Python for data processing automation
- Familiarity with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance data analysis, problem-solving, and process automation
- Relational database knowledge and application
- Statistical knowledge for data processing and decision making
- Knowledge of Smartsheet and PowerBI
- Understanding of Google Applications
