About the role

  • Account Manager/CSR managing new and renewal insurance accounts in a hybrid US role with flexible work options. Responsible for maintaining relationships with coworkers and carriers.

Responsibilities

  • Rate new and renewal business
  • Prepare all submissions and send them out to carriers for quoting or quote online
  • Finish the process by obtaining forms or items required by carriers after the account is bound
  • Serve as a source of knowledge of appetite and market trends
  • Round out current accounts
  • Use expertise in subject matter when comparing quotes and negotiating coverage differences
  • Collect premiums per established agency procedures before binding any coverage
  • Respond to all inquiries from the carrier and insured

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Insurance experience in Personal and Commercial Property and Casualty
  • Property & Casualty license required
  • Sales driven
  • Ability to maintain a cordial and effective relationship with co-workers and carriers
