Field Support Representative teaching veterinarians to use IDEXX diagnostic machines while providing technical support. Requires veterinary clinic experience and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
Teach veterinarians how to make the best use of veterinary diagnostic machines and troubleshoot technical issues
Manage schedule based on customer needs while focusing on professional development
Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives and Customer Support to maintain customer accounts
Install and train clinic staff on IDEXX Analyzers
Provide onsite technical support during critical customer need visits
Visit customers in the field daily, adjusting schedule as necessary for events and emergency practices
Requirements
Experience as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) or equivalent is considered a strong asset
Minimum of three (3) years veterinary clinic experience with a training and/or leadership background strongly preferred
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to build strong customer and peer partnerships
Capacity to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment
Effective listening skills to discover customer needs
Comfort with learning and using technology such as computers, tablets, and Smartphones
Computer networking experience is a plus!
