About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct Penetration Tests: Simulate cyber attacks on systems, networks, applications and mobile to identify security weaknesses before malicious hackers can exploit them.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Use both automated tools and manual techniques to assess the security posture of various IT environments.
- Reporting: Document findings in detailed reports, providing clear explanations of risks and recommendations for remediation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure secure design and configuration of systems, and to implement security improvements based on testing results.
- Stay Updated: Keep current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance testing methodologies and tools used.
- Incident Response: Investigate security incidents and respond to breaches in real-time, documenting findings and actions taken.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate in Cyber Security or any related discipline are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of Cyber Security, experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools would be advantage.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Windows) and programming languages (Python, JavaScript) would be great.
- General knowledge of IT procedures and cyber/information security best practices.
- General understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
