About the role

Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical activities of faculty members in the program
- Provide general leadership, including service and education
- Mentor junior members of the program
- Encourage and facilitate academic development and promotion

- Supervise practice operations
- Work with nursing and administrative leaders
- Represent the program in the broader Winship and Emory communities
- Engage in relevant strategic initiatives
- Submit grant & trial proposals
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and present work at (inter)national meetings
- Supervise residents & HMO fellows
Requirements
- Serve as Director for a disease program in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology (10% effort)
