Responsibilities
The Economic-Financial Consultant will be responsible for providing detailed economic and financial analyses for concession and public-private partnership (PPP) projects, and other solutions for the Public Sector, ensuring project viability, sustainability, and profitability.
Will be involved in planning and executing financial studies, developing business models, and conducting risk analyses, working together with multidisciplinary teams to support project success and strategic decisions.
Develop economic and financial analyses, including cash flow modeling, and economic and financial feasibility assessments of concession and PPP projects, with an emphasis on modeling for the sanitation sector (water and sewage).
Prepare studies and reports on financial impacts, revenue and expense forecasts, investment estimates, and profitability analysis.
Prepare and review financial models to support strategic decisions, considering fiscal, regulatory, and market aspects.
Prepare management reports, presentations, and technical opinions for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in multidisciplinary working teams, collaborating with legal, technical, and regulatory areas to ensure project success.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Project Management, Economics, or related areas is a plus.
Experience in economic-financial modeling in the sanitation sector is a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, cash flow analysis, economic projections, and feasibility analysis is essential.
Knowledge of laws and regulations related to concessions and PPPs.
Excellent analytical skills, strategic vision, and ability to work in a team.
Proficiency in financial tools such as advanced Excel and/or specialized financial modeling software.
