About the role

• Consultant improving IT infrastructure cybersecurity for a consulting firm with 300 employees. Leading project teams and advising on security strategies and measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and support clients in improving their cybersecurity within the IT infrastructure domain.
• Guide clients through technical assessments, audits, and security evaluations.
• Design security architectures and tailored security strategies, and support clients in their implementation.
• Raise client awareness of information security in technical contexts and develop corresponding measures.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations on cross-cutting topics (e.g., data protection, operations organization, service management) to help expand our consulting services.

Requirements

• Technical education or university degree with several years of practical experience, for example in computer science, cyber security, or a comparable professional qualification.
• Several years of experience in the IT infrastructure domain (networking, Active Directory, firewalls, cloud, hypervisors).
• Several years of experience conducting technical assessments, audits, or security evaluations.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2).
• Ability to represent technical issues in a structured manner to clients.
• Exposure to OT environments, critical infrastructure (KRITIS), or regulated projects and a solid understanding of industrial networks are advantageous.
