Responsibilities
You proactively acquire new customers in the mid-market and build a reliable sales pipeline through outbound activities, networking, and market analysis.
You identify new target industries, relevant decision-makers, and concrete use cases for Atlassian solutions.
You independently conduct initial meetings, needs analyses, and presentations, and manage deals through to successful contract signing.
You strategically develop existing customers and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
You consistently work closely with our consulting and delivery teams, as well as our business line managers.
You create individual account plans and derive concrete actions from them.
You are responsible for forecasts, pipeline management, and regular Quarterly Business Reviews.
You represent HiQ at events, webinars, and in customer workshops.
Requirements
Degree or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in new business development and B2B sales — ideally in an IT, software, or consulting environment
Strong knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ITSM, Cloud, Marketplace apps)
Proven track record in expanding existing accounts and closing complex deals
Strong hunter mentality combined with a professional demeanor
Excellent communication skills across all hierarchy levels
Strategic thinking, strong customer orientation, and a hands-on working style
Business-fluent German and English (minimum C1)
