About the role
- Accounting Manager in charge of financial accounting at HIH Group. Overseeing monthly and yearly financial statements with a focus on team collaboration and system optimization.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle ongoing financial accounting
- Record routine business transactions, provisions and accruals
- Review, code and post supplier invoices
- Execute payment transactions and monitor liquidity
- Maintain and manage fixed assets
- Prepare and produce monthly and annual financial statements
- Support Controlling in budget preparation and variance analyses
- Prepare VAT returns
- Contribute to the further development of accounting processes and internal standards
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) and assist with management reports where required
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for auditors during the annual audit.
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant)
- Several years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate sector or within a corporate group
- Proficient in SAP FI (experience with S/4HANA advantageous)
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- Reliable, meticulous and structured working style
- Team player with an independent, responsible approach to work
