Field Service Engineer deploying and supporting infrared panoramic surveillance cameras for civil security and defense. Requires strong technical skills and mobility for international travel.
Responsibilities
You will report to the Customer Support department of the Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) product line.
You will participate in deploying the services we offer to customers worldwide.
You will carry out preparatory work for interfacing products at the customer site (network/systems, infrastructure, mechanical, electronic, specific pre-configuration, etc.).
At the customer site, you will deploy the equipment and perform the necessary configurations (3 to 6 days on site).
To ensure optimal adoption, you will train users on the products (software, hardware, daily maintenance).
You will provide technical assistance in case of equipment failure, remotely or on site.
You will monitor installed products to ensure an optimal level of service.
Requirements
Master’s degree (Bac +5) in engineering or equivalent, generalist profile (preferably in mechatronics or electronics).
At least 5 years of professional experience in similar roles.
Knowledge of IT systems and networks would be an advantage.
High mobility is required: you will be expected to travel at least 2 full weeks per month (Europe, Africa, Americas… approximately 90% of assignments outside France).
Fluent English is essential for oral and written communication with English-speaking clients.
