Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers across operations
Build strong relationships with store employees and managers
Conduct investigations into employee complaints
Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
Promote programs that strengthen employee morale, recognition, and retention
Ensure compliance with federal and local employment laws
Provide support for company-sponsored benefits
Conduct compensation reviews and analysis
Develop and facilitate HR training programs
Maintain accurate HR records and reports
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
5+ years of HR experience; multi-location or retail/operations environment strongly preferred
Experience with ADP WorkforceNow strongly preferred
Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP) desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred in Southern California
Knowledge of California and Oregon employment law, including wage and hour requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems required
