About the role

  • Director of Business Development overseeing large national accounts and driving growth for logistic services. Responsible for developing new business while maintaining existing relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees large national accounts and national sales programs for the Company's products and services
  • Ensures growth and expansion by developing new business while also maintaining existing accounts
  • Anticipates or identifies evolving customer needs
  • Participates in regular customer business reviews
  • Prepares client quotations and presentation of proposals
  • Updates CRM with activities as per company guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years related experience in sales, marketing, and customer service
  • Proven track record of increasing sales year over year
  • Possess a minimum six years of sales experience in freight forwarding
  • Proficient knowledge of all Hellmann products and Partner network
