Responsibilities
- The Senior Technical Product Manager (SDN) is responsible for driving SDN architecture and delivering scalable, production-ready reference designs, including L4–L7 network services.
- This role leads cross‑functional efforts to define, document, and validate SDN solutions that meet stringent performance, scale, security, and reliability requirements across enterprise and service provider environments.
- This position works closely with engineering, architecture, field teams, partners, and customers to ensure SDN solutions are practical, consumable, and deployable at scale.
- The TPM translates customer needs, operational best practices, and product capabilities into clear, actionable guidance that accelerates adoption and enables operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, sales, marketing, supply chain, and partners to ensure solutions are technically sound, easy to consume, and aligned with overall product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in networking, virtualization, cloud, or infrastructure software
- Strong technical understanding of enterprise and service provider networking ecosystems
- Expert ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams in complex, ambiguous environments
- Proven strength in technical decision‑making, cost‑efficient solution design, and financial performance analysis
- Strong business acumen with expertise in problem identification, root‑cause analysis, and structured execution
- Ability to bridge deep technical detail and executive‑level communication, enabling alignment across technical and business stakeholders
