About the role
- Head of Engineering for Gojob overseeing software teams to improve customer satisfaction and growth. Driving innovation and reliability in service offerings through technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical decisions for development teams (ADR, Product Concept) by leveraging each team member’s expertise
- Organize your team’s delivery using LEAN principles with fast value increments and tracking of impact
- Define the team’s strategic vision with the ambition to continue supporting Gojob’s growth
- Maintain direct contact with our external providers to strengthen relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure proper implementation
- Help grow the people reporting to you by giving continuous feedback and defining personalized career plans.
Requirements
- You hold a Master’s degree (BAC +5) and have between 5 and 15 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least 3 years in a management position.
- You are user-centric; you enjoy spending time with customers to understand their problems and needs to better set your teams’ priorities.
- You are product-, impact- and business-driven; you base your decisions on data to maximize the value delivered by you and your teams in minimal time and to increase their impact across Gojob’s business.
- You are part of a multidisciplinary team and know how to rely on and highlight the experts in each domain.
- You are autonomous, able to define a vision, share it and implement it. You can define an organization to execute that vision.
