Procurement Officer managing all contracted passenger transport for Gloucestershire County Council. Delivering training, coordinating reports, and managing contractual documentation.
Responsibilities
Procure and contractually manage all the Council's contracted passenger transport
Coordinate investigations and prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders as and when required
Deliver training to service areas within the Council on the various types of transport we can procure on their behalf
Requirements
Proven track record of being very well organised
Experience of working in a busy team environment
Ability to work well independently
Proficient and accurate in using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to prepare and manage all contractual documentation for the transport provision
Confidence at public speaking and able to deliver training to large groups of people, in person or via TEAMS
Ability to find solutions and work to tight deadlines and targets
Flexible approach
Willingness to accompany Transport Engineers to site inspections as and when required
