About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a group-wide strategy that optimises value for money while championing ethical and socially responsible sourcing.
- Lead the evolution of our non-clinical landscape by partnering with Group Executives, Divisional Finance Teams, and clinical advisors to influence positive change and achieve procurement objectives.
- Own the annual procurement plan, identifying and delivering savings that directly support our frontline services.
- Take the lead on critical reporting for Modern Slavery and our Reconciliation Action Plan.
- Foster a high-performance culture, mentoring your direct reports and scaling the team’s strategic influence across St Vincent’s
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience in similar roles with a deep understanding of category management and complex contract negotiations across multiple sites.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to various stakeholders at all levels and to navigate niche, complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable procurement insights.

- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Health, or a related field.
