About the role
- Engineer role in Unified Communications, focusing on design and support of Microsoft Teams and Audiocodes SBCs. Responsible for VoIP systems with collaboration across teams and mentorship to junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise voice and collaboration solutions
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Teams and voice solutions, including integration with Audiocodes SBCs and OVOC management
- Manage and support the VoIP backbone, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud telephony systems
- Provision, configure, and troubleshoot managed phones and ATA devices
- Monitor system health, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve incidents
- Collaborate with internal Teams and vendors
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft Teams, Audiocodes SBCs (Mediant series), and OVOC
- Strong understanding of VoIP backbone architecture, SIP trunking, and PSTN integration
- Experience with managed phones and ATA devices
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate (preferred) - Audiocodes Certified Professional (desirable)
- 7+ years in unified communications or voice engineering roles
- Experience with enterprise-scale deployments and troubleshooting
