Responsibilities
Draft and edit high-quality content for the Perkins Pulse intranet (WordPress), our monthly People Operations newsletter, and daily announcements.
Keep our intranet and communication boards fresh, organized, and easy to navigate.
Create eye-catching visuals using Canva or Adobe Suite and capture photography that brings our stories to life.
Ensure every piece of content is inclusive, meeting Perkins’ high standards for alt-text and accessible formatting.
Provide hands-on logistical support for major staff events like Winterfest, Summer Socials, and appreciation days.
Assist with technical setup and presentation decks for quarterly in person Town Halls and monthly Perkins Pulse virtual meetings.
Manage the daily workflows for employee awards and milestones via Awardco, ensuring our team’s hard work never goes unnoticed.
Conduct interviews with staff to create "day-in-the-life" features for internal and external branding.
Help manage our employer brand on platforms like Glassdoor, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
Track and compile monthly analytics (open rates, engagement) to help us refine our strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
1–3 years in communications, marketing, or HR. (experience in a non-profit or corporate setting is a big plus!)
Proven experience with WordPress (or similar CMS), Google Workspace, and design tools like Canva or similar.
Exceptional proofreading skills and a careful focus on accuracy and formatting.
