Responsibilities
Responsible for leading all maintenance operations across multi-shift food production lines
Ensure equipment reliability and adherence to maintenance schedules
Assemble, motivate and manage a high-performance team
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage capital projects
Promote a culture of safety and compliance with relevant standards
Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and process optimization
Collaborate closely with Operations to align maintenance activities with production goals
Respond to facility issues and emergencies on a 24/7 basis
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of relevant maintenance leadership experience, preferably in a food or nutraceutical production environment
Strong knowledge of high voltage multi-phase electrical systems troubleshooting
Experience in food processing and packaging equipment and processes
Experience with HVAC, alarms & surveillance, fire systems, electrical service and distribution systems
Working knowledge of GMP’s, OSHA, Electrical Safety, Food Safety (FDA, SQF, NSF), and Building Code regulations
Experience with computerized predictive/preventative maintenance program, work order generation/logging and provide trend information
Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment
Ability to read and understand control logic, P&IDs and other technical material pertinent to automated packaging equipment
