About the role
- Business Planning Manager shaping Givaudan's T&W strategy and execution within Japan. Collaborating closely with the Commercial Head to drive growth in flavors and wellbeing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define business strategy for Japan , the main goals and the actions needed to deliver them
- Identify needs and business development growth opportunities for the T&W Japan business in collaboration and alignment with the Commercial Head, R&D and Marketing
- Develop & maintain knowledge of competitor activity , regulatory environment and changing consumer trends for Givaudan’s total solution portfolio, communicates and recommends initiatives to differentiate ourselves from competition
- Work with key stakeholders from other commercial and technical teams in a matrix style to support key accounts
- Identify the gaps and opportunities for customers and consumers in the region and feedback to Commercial Head, R&D, and Marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study
- 5 years of demonstrated track record in business planning, business development and strategy development
- Competent knowledge of the industry including technical aspects
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – ability to convey information in an engaging way and good at building relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset to get the job done
