About the role

  • Operations Leader overseeing supply chain performance at GIS International, focusing on both internal team development and external customer relations. Responsible for procurement, logistics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end supply chain: procurement, vendor management, logistics, warehousing, order fulfilment
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Manage conflict constructively; address performance issues
  • directly and fairly
  • Define and track KPIs that matter
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives
  • Interface with key customers on operational matters
  • Manage supplier and carrier relationships

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years in supply chain, logistics, or operations
  • Direct team management experience
  • Background in mid-size organizations (50 to 300 people)
  • Experience building or restructuring operations functions
  • International exposure including emerging markets or multi-country operations
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain systems and reporting tools
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • French and/or Dutch is an asset
