Responsibilities
Support in analyzing and benchmarking the procurement market while considering relevant risk factors
Selection, qualification and continuous evaluation of new and existing suppliers
Conduct potential and process audits as well as identify and implement optimization opportunities
Analyze supplier performance and develop sustainable improvement measures
Address supplier-side quality issues in close cooperation with suppliers using common problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D)
Create, maintain and manage quality-related documentation and reports
Work closely with internal departments such as Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Production
Evaluate supplier first articles and the associated documentation
Train and support suppliers regarding quality standards and requirements
Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a comparable qualification (e.g., technician)
Several years of professional experience in supplier or quality management
