About the role
- Manager Group Accounting managing financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance for GETEC. Responsible for leading financial operations within corporate group structures in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements and the group management report
- Performing monthly group reporting
- Elimination of intercompany profits and handling of equity/ capital consolidation
- Point of contact for the financial accounting departments of subsidiaries and associated companies
- Processing of expense, revenue and debt consolidation
- Drafting instructions, policies and procedural rules
- Enhancing and developing the reporting structure of the subsidiaries
- Collaboration with the Group Controlling function
- Leadership and personnel development of the team
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in group accounting/consolidation or in external audit
- Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and ideally experience with IFRS
- Experience with Lucanet or comparable ERP/finance systems is an advantage
- Analytical thinking and a careful, precise working style
- Reliable team player with strong communication skills
