Responsibilities
Capture system requirements, flow-down them to assess components architecture and key characteristics
Collect, bargain and release technical requirements of components like pumps, filters, valves (i.e., thermal, bypass, relief), tanks, heat exchangers (produced using additive manufacturing or conventional technology), cooling fans and sensors (i.e., pressure and temperature)
Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, in various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection
Lead and execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned components using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
Ensure design and hardware deliverables to internal and external customers, embracing Avio Aero design execution quality, within deadline agreed with system engineer and/or program managers with respect to product lifecycle (from concept, through design and reviews gates, prototype and certification, field introduction, investigation and sustaining)
Issue the technical documents relative to the components design according to engineering policies and procedures (presentations as well as analysis reports, deliverables, certification reports, design record books)
Proactively lead and support as a presenter in technical and program reviews with senior engineers, program leaders, external companies, suppliers and customers
Prepare test plan and define pass/fail criteria, post process data acquiring, elaborating, deducing, and correlating them with physics phenomena
Be accountable of source technological substantiation and non-conformances assessments (MRB)
Drive activities related to development findings, components performance and investigations (test requests, test data postprocess, laboratories investigation)
