About the role

Responsibilities
- The role is primarily focused on project work and geotechnical investigations
- Conduct geotechnical sampling and field and laboratory testing
- Geological/geotechnical description and classification of soils and rocks
- Project work in the field of geotechnical engineering both domestically and internationally, including documentation and review of results, ensuring compliance with requirements and contract values
- Manage projects while adhering to quality, cost, schedule and safety requirements in coordination with the department head and project managers
- Plan, coordinate and carry out geotechnical investigations, tests and measurements
- Collaborate with project-related subcontractors
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Surveying/Geodesy or a comparable field
- Initial relevant practical experience through internships or working student roles is an advantage but not required
- Confident and technically competent demeanor with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle conflicts and strong negotiation skills
- High level of commitment
- IT skills: Proficient with Office software and ArcGIS
- Fluent German (C2) and good English (B2)
- Driver’s license (car)
- Willingness to engage in intercultural and international collaboration
- Enjoyment of teamwork
