Senior Supervisor managing HR Shared Services at Ford in India. Overseeing statutory compliance and benefit administration across various Indian states.
Responsibilities
Statutory & Benefit Administration: Provide end-to-end oversight for Provident Fund (PF), ESI, Gratuity, NPS, and Superannuation.
Establishment Compliances: Manage Pan-India requirements including Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), CLRA (Contract Labour), Shops & Establishment (S&E), and Trade Licenses.
Pan-India Scope: Ensure complete compliance across all various states where Ford has a presence, navigating the unique local nuances of each region.
Team Supervision: Manage a team of 5–6 members, providing daily guidance and ensuring high engagement and performance.
Resource Planning: Execute plans for day-to-day management of resources, ensuring the team is correctly staffed and trained to handle peak periods (e.g., year-end filings, renewals etc).
Timeline Management: Oversee the compliance calendar for all India facilities, ensuring every deadline—from monthly PF deposits to annual trade license renewals—is met with 100% accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
15+ years in HR Statutory Compliance, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
Candidates with strong and thorough knowledge of Indian statutory laws and regulations
Candidates with good communication and process improvement mind-set to simplify/standardize the activities
Continuous improvement mindset to eliminate the non-value-added activities
Lead and deliver the projects in statutory and also capable to support to other team members
