About the role

• Senior CFD Analysis Engineer needed in Flow Assurance Team at TechnipFMC for subsea equipment development. Required expertise in CFD analyses and strong engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD analyses of SPS (subsea production systems), products and components.
• Develop and refine methodologies, including benchmarking and validation against experimental or test data, to develop new product and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with peers from cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges.
• Prepare technical notes, reports, and customer-facing presentations.
• Contribute to field development studies, tenders, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and NPD (New Product Development) projects.
• Follow projects timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate projects resources and schedules.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Power, Process, Oil & Gas Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in CFD studies.
• Deep understanding of physics including single- and multi-phase fluid flow, heat transfer, structural mechanics, fluid properties and thermodynamics.
• Extensive knowledge about numerical methods, algorithms, and solvers.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken), strong communication skills, and confident presenting results.
• Goal-oriented, efficient in problem-solving, and details focused approach.
• Proficient in ANSYS Fluent or other CFD tools.
• Proficient in ANSA or other pre-processors.
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation, data analysis, and custom CFD tools development.
• Familiar with structural mechanics and multiphase flows.
• Familiar with SPS, products, components and Oil & Gas industry standards.
• Experience in CO₂ transport and storage systems, including multiphase CO₂ flow modeling, thermodynamics, and flow assurance challenges relevant to CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage).
