About the role
- Field Service Technician installing and repairing TechnipFMC products and tools. Providing support and ensuring customer satisfaction in offshore/onshore operations.
Responsibilities
- Performs the installation, testing, and repairing of new and reworked TechnipFMC products (equipment and tools)
- Establishes and maintains communication with Customer Representative on issues related to his/her perimeter (job installation/testing procedures, equipment, tooling and spare parts requirements, equipment and tooling function-fit and critical technical data)
- Provides sales support ensuring the customer is fully informed of all aspects of the job
- Assures all quality issues and documentation (equipment and procedural defects) is communicated and sent back to Company's Service Management
- Completes field documentation after the completion of each service job
- Provides Project Support as required, for all new projects which includes assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing
- Prepares and completes safety related documentation. Pursues safe work practices
Requirements
- Gabonese citizen
- High school diploma in Mechanics or equivalent technical diploma
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field service technician role
- Valid driving license
- Basic PC (Microsoft office) skills
- Fluent in English
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Efficient use of hand tools-manual, pneumatic and electric
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties
