Field Service Technician installing and repairing TechnipFMC products and tools. Providing support and ensuring customer satisfaction in offshore/onshore operations.
Responsibilities
Performs the installation, testing, and repairing of new and reworked TechnipFMC products (equipment and tools)
Establishes and maintains communication with Customer Representative on issues related to his/her perimeter (job installation/testing procedures, equipment, tooling and spare parts requirements, equipment and tooling function-fit and critical technical data)
Provides sales support ensuring the customer is fully informed of all aspects of the job
Assures all quality issues and documentation (equipment and procedural defects) is communicated and sent back to Company's Service Management
Completes field documentation after the completion of each service job
Provides Project Support as required, for all new projects which includes assisting with project Factory Acceptance Tests and Systems Integration Testing
Prepares and completes safety related documentation. Pursues safe work practices
Requirements
Gabonese citizen
High school diploma in Mechanics or equivalent technical diploma
Minimum 3 years of experience in field service technician role
Valid driving license
Basic PC (Microsoft office) skills
Fluent in English
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
Strong mechanical aptitude
Efficient use of hand tools-manual, pneumatic and electric
Ability to read and understand drawings
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties
