About the role
- Mid-Level Lawyer negotiating commercial contracts for Flash, a fintech startup simplifying HR and finance operations. Seeking legal support for business strategies and contract management in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including non-standard contracts received from mid-size and large clients.
- Provide direct legal support to business areas (especially Commercial and Product), offering consultative legal guidance to enable strategies and close deals.
- Contribute to structuring and adapting standard contracts, monitoring changes in products, offerings and commercial strategies.
- Assess and negotiate sensitive clauses (liability, risks, regulatory obligations, SLAs, penalties), with guidance from senior legal team members when necessary.
- Work in a high-volume contractual environment, ensuring organization, prioritization and meeting deadlines.
- Support monitoring of the area’s operational metrics (contract volumes, timelines, bottlenecks and internal SLAs).
Requirements
- Law degree with active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Practical experience with commercial contracts, especially in negotiation contexts.
- Prior experience in startups, fintechs, payment institutions or companies of a size similar to Flash.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external clients.
- Organized, agile profile with a clear sense of priorities.
