Responsibilities
- Drive the evolution of our financial operations ecosystem, focusing on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and platform resilience.
- Champion architectural innovation, promote standardization, and deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Shape the product roadmap in alignment with business priorities and partner close with engineering and business teams to design, implement, and deploy end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to enterprise strategy and mentor others in best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience architecting distributed systems and applications.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure and/or AWS; certification is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, infrastructure, data architecture, and security, with authoritative expertise in one or more of these areas.
- Working knowledge of technical architecture pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Background with multiple enterprise technologies.
- Understanding of mainframe technology is desired but not required.
- Experience with mainframe modernization is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business direction and challenges, assess long-term vision, and develop strategic technical solutions.
- Ability to ensure technology decisions align with enterprise standards and strategy.
- Experience collaborating with peer architects to identify opportunities for process refactoring, customer experience improvements, and capability rationalization.
- Authoritative understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience networking across business units and externally to promote reusable processes, patterns, and practices.
- Experience in the financial services or benefits administration industry is a plus.
- Willingness to experiment, innovate, and continuously learn and grow.
