About the role
- Preproduction Engineer supporting electrical power and lighting in production projects at FTI. Working with managers and teams in budgeting, coordination, and documentation for successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Preproduction Manager during all phases of a production project
- Responsible for basic electrical power, lighting, and low voltage installations
- Assist with developing budgets, constructability reviews, value engineering, and project documentation support
- Develop project budgets, cost alternatives, change orders, and proposals
- Provides design, budgeting, and model coordination on projects
- Manage project submittal and Request for Information (RFI) process
- Provides support to field and shop personnel during production and site construction
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of electrical or systems experience or Entry level CAD/Revit or Accubid experience and 5 or more years of Manufacturing and/or Construction experience preferred
