Responsibilities
Responsible for effective delivery and sustainability of programs, training & development, and quality within the Long Term Care homes.
Implement and share policies/programs to ensure compliance with regulations and Extendicare’s standards.
Train and support Home Leadership Teams and frontline teams in the Long Term Care homes.
Promote compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure involvement with regulatory committees.
Conduct quality improvement initiatives and audits to enhance operational effectiveness.
Liaise with regional representatives and manage communications with external stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience in long term care or healthcare is preferred.
Educational background in a related field (nursing, social work, etc.) is beneficial.
Knowledge of compliance and accreditation standards.
Strong ability to analyze performance indicators and quality improvement practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
