About the role
- Environmental Attorney managing remediation and litigation matters in leading New Jersey law firm. Engaging a diverse clientele with environmental regulatory issues and Superfund site remediations.
Responsibilities
- Join one of New Jersey's leading environmental law practices as counsel/senior associate.
- Work on environmental remediation, transactional, and litigation matters.
- Assist with ISRA compliance, including obtaining approval from an LSRP or DEP for proper investigation and remediation of contamination.
- Engage with a diverse clientele, including real estate property owners/operators, remediating parties, real estate developers, public entities with environmental issues, and businesses with environmental regulatory issues.
- Involve yourself in Superfund and hazardous waste site remediations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in environmental remediation, transactional, and litigation matters.
- A background in ISRA compliance.
- Admission to practice in the State of New Jersey.
- Admission to the New York State bar is a plus.
