Payroll Analyst overseeing payroll processing across assigned countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and data integrity in collaboration with HR and Finance.
Responsibilities
Prepare, validate and upload payroll input data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, overtime and deductions
Review payroll reports for accuracy, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure calculations align with company policies and statutory requirements
Work closely with external payroll providers to coordinate monthly payroll cycles and resolve issues promptly
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity within HRIS and payroll systems
Support month-end and year-end payroll activities including reconciliations, tax filings and audits
Respond to employee payroll queries professionally and within SLA
Collaborate with Finance on payroll journals, GL reconciliation, funding requests, and reporting
Assist in implementing process improvements, automation, and payroll system enhancements
Ensure compliance with audit controls, internal policies, and country-specific legislation
Generate standard and ad-hoc payroll reports for internal stakeholders
Support payroll-related projects such as system upgrades, new country onboarding, and vendor transitions
Requirements
Proven experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multi-country environment
Strong knowledge of local payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
Experience of using external payroll providers platforms (e.g., ADP, Bakertilly, Deel, Alphastaff)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Effective communication skills and stakeholder management experience
Degree in Finance, HR, Accounting, or related field preferred; payroll certification is a plus
