About the role

• Leiter (m/w/d) Lager at EWR Netz GmbH ensuring efficient and compliant logistics processes. Leading and developing the warehousing team while maintaining inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Provide both operational and disciplinary leadership for the warehouse team
• Ensure smooth operation of all processes in goods receipt, goods issue/dispatch, order picking and material provisioning
• Take responsibility for inventory management, stocktaking and inventory accuracy
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, standards and legal requirements
• Ensure compliance with occupational, environmental and safety regulations in warehouse operations
• Coordinate closely with purchasing, warehouse and fleet management to develop the overall strategy
• Prepare decision-making documentation on digitalization, process design, investments and inventory strategy
• Regularly report on KPIs, risks, opportunities and optimization projects
• Analyze existing material flow processes and their digital representation to increase transparency and efficiency
• Maintain and further develop warehouse master data and material classifications

Requirements

• Completed technical or commercial training in logistics/material management; further training desirable
• Several years of experience in warehousing/logistics and experience leading teams in a warehouse/logistics context
• Knowledge of occupational safety, hazardous materials, warehouse equipment and legal regulations
• Confident user of ERP systems, particularly SAP MM/EWM, as well as mobile booking/scanning systems
• Car driving license (Class B) required
• Truck driving license (Class C/CE) advantageous
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to lead and support change within the team
• High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
