About the role
- Product manager coordinating innovative emission-free city and intercity bus development at Daimler Buses. Ensuring operational product management and leading various workshops and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operational product management for city and intercity buses, including cost, quality and schedule tracking
- Organize and conduct, up to leading and moderating meetings, decision-making bodies and workshops
- Prepare and align management documentation for reporting achieved objectives or as decision templates when adjustments are required
- Coordinate content descriptions and timelines for test/prototype vehicles with all involved departments
- Further develop and optimize methods and tools to control the product development process
- Opportunity to take on an agile role within the framework of agile product development
Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
- General technical product knowledge in the commercial vehicle sector and experience with product development processes and methods at Daimler Truck and Buses
- Good English skills for written and verbal communication across the global development and production network
- Independent, responsible working style combined with strong organizational and coordination skills is essential
- Moderation, communication and coordination experience in an agile working context, e.g. SAFe, is desirable
