About the role

  • Account Manager managing customer relationships and sales in Berlin area for calibration and metrology firm. Engaging with existing clients and acquiring new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Independent management of the assigned territory covering postal code areas 0-06 / 1 / 20-25 / 38 / 39 (based in Berlin)
  • Customer consulting and sales, representing the company, presenting the service offering
  • Development of local sales strategies
  • Account management of existing customers and acquisition of new customers
  • Preparation of proposals, presentation of offers and follow-up on quotations
  • Direct communication with sales management, regular reporting and documentation
  • Customer development and potential analysis
  • Participation in trade fairs

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training, degree, or career changers with industry-specific knowledge (measurement technology or metrology/calibration laboratory)
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in sales of technical services
  • Technical understanding to become familiar with complex solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact
  • Strong customer- and service-orientation
  • Structured, careful and independent working style
  • Performance- and quality-oriented mindset
  • Initiative, loyalty, reliability and commitment
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility
  • Driver's license class B
