About the role
- Regional Business Controller driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across Europe for Envalior. Managing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while supporting sales leadership in growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Join the Sales Leadership Team to drive profitable growth.
- Actively manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Support the Vice-President Sales Europe in developing strategy and tactics.
- Regional business control and performance steering against KPIs (sales volumes, margins, AR).
- Manage OWC/Cash Control – AR management with support from shared services and customer service teams.
- Monitor sales accounting and price approval of rebates, commissions, and credit/debit notes.
- Oversee margin and pipeline management to ensure timely information for stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and strategic/tactical initiatives across the region.
- Act as a sparring partner to senior managers and support commercial performance dialogues.
Requirements
- Strong background in Finance and Business Controlling
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Hands-on approach with ability to translate financial insights for non-finance colleagues
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance or commercial controlling
- Full proficiency in German and English
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; affinity with SAP and Power BI is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing or chemical industry is an advantage
