About the role
- Financial Controller managing accounting processes at KRUSH Labs, an R&D center for unmanned systems. Ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
- Handle accruals, prepayments, and month-end close activities
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Maintain financial documentation and contracts in an audit-ready state
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors (NL)
- Support budgeting, cost analysis, and project-level financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and intercompany accounting
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and data flow
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Accountant, or similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial documentation
- Familiarity with working with external accountants and auditors
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Familiarity with Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS standards
- Experience with VAT (BTW) reporting and Dutch tax compliance is expected
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
