About the role
- Product Analyst assisting in the development of consumer goods at Elgin. Collaborative role interfacing with various teams for product solutions and market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in product development within the Consumer Goods segment;
- Serve as the interface with the commercial/sales team to understand requirements and collect data; perform technical analysis and implement product solutions; support coordination with other departments to define product proposals and technical specifications (safety standards);
- Execute technical development and formulation of new products or modifications to existing products, ensuring compliance with current legislation and departmental procedures, and working with third-party laboratories contracted by the company;
- Request samples from Chinese suppliers for products that meet Brazilian market requirements; perform tests and register items; prepare technical data sheets detailing product characteristics; review packaging, technical labels, and manuals; develop presentations and training for the sales team, and prepare marketing briefs;
- Monitor orders placed with the import team (expected arrival date in Brazil);
- Search for new products and market opportunities;
- Perform product testing and quality analysis (pre-sales);
- Schedule inspections on the QIMA platform to review production in China;
- Prepare technical data sheets for product launches;
- Monitor DAT/SAC and implement necessary improvements;
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing;
- Advanced English;
- Knowledge of product development processes;
