Responsibilities
Facilitate communication between the accounting department, manufacturing, and operations teams.
Oversee cycle count audits, physical inventories, journal entries, and the reconciliation and maintenance of inventory ledger accounts.
Monitor, analyze, and manage the financial effects of quality issues.
Support the San Diego Pilot Operations Innovation center in their R&D activity requiring cross-functional collaborations with R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality and Finance.
Lead and oversee clinical strategy and execution for medical device studies, including IDE and post-market trials.
Manage regulatory-driven clinical activities, with particular experience navigating EU MDR requirements for legacy and cleared devices.
Requirements
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
You bring strong expertise in inventory controls and standard costing, including operating in an Oracle-based ERP environment.
Proven ability to review and analyze work order activity, identify variances, and ensure accuracy in inventory and production costing.
Proficiency includes GL account reconciliations, rapid period-end close execution, and timely recognition of expenses.
Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, helping develop and monitor procedures that protect company assets.
Experience coordinating new item setup, BOM structures, and account assignments to support R&D and production activities.
