Responsibilities
Supports in the delivery of Destination BC’s brand marketing and brand strategy programs
Conducting desktop research to support the development of annual brand plans
Project coordination and contribution on brand strategy projects and integrated brand marketing programs
Assists with the planning and delivery of brand strategy and brand marketing projects
Supports brand research projects to inform the annual strategic brand planning process
Develops communications materials to raise awareness of Destination BC’s brand marketing programs and tourism industry partner opportunities
Requirements
Currently working towards a diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, public relations, media studies, or a related field
Co-op students must be enrolled in a recognized co-operative education program at an accredited co-op institution
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada for the duration of the co-op term
Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preference for interest in developing project coordination or project management skills.
