Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of dentsu ANZ’s communications strategy across external, corporate and internal channels.
- Craft compelling narratives that position dentsu’s leaders as thought leaders through storytelling, speaking engagements and partnerships.
- Oversee the execution of all external communications activity including managing a proactive and reactive press office.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with press, including trade journalists and key industry publications.
- Support executive communications including message development and profiling opportunities.
- Plan and deliver high-impact employee campaigns that drive employee engagement and reinforce dentsu’s culture and values.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in communications, PR, or corporate affairs (ideally in marketing/media/agency environments).
- Strong writing and storytelling skills for internal and external audiences.
- Proven ability to manage media relations, issues management, and stakeholder communications.
- Skilled in digital tools and platforms (e.g., Streem / Meltwater, Sprinklr, Microsoft 365, Canva , LinkedIn).
- Demonstrated use and interest of emerging technologies.
- Confident working with senior leaders and navigating complex multinational and matrix structures.
- Agile & collaborative: comfortable working with a small but dynamic team.
- Proactive & hungry: driven to uncover stories that create impact.
- Friendly & professional: builds trust and strong relationships internally and externally.
