About the role
- Database Administrator responsible for client database solutions and technical analysis. Supporting customer IT environments with a focus on Microsoft SQL systems in a dynamic IT service company.
Responsibilities
- Erhebung und Analyse technischer Kundenanforderungen in bestehenden oder neuen Umgebungen
- Installation, Integration und Migration von größeren IT- und Datenbank-Systemen auf Basis der Kundenanforderungen
- Betrieb, Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung der kundenseitig vorliegenden Datenbank-Lösungen
- Sicherung des reibungslosen Betriebs inkl. Troubleshooting und Fehleranalyse sowie Backup und Recovery
- Betrieb der kundenseitig vorliegenden Windows Server Umgebung, als Basis der Datenbank
Requirements
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung in einer IT-nahen Fachrichtung oder Studium im Bereich Informatik
- Erfahrung in der Planung und Umsetzung von Projekten im Datenbankumfeld, primär mit Microsoft SQL-Umgebungen
- Fundiertes Wissen in der Administration von Microsoft SQL Datenbanken und Cluster Architekturen
- Vorhandene Berufserfahrung in der Arbeit mit angrenzenden Microsoft-Infrastrukturen insbesondere in der Administration größerer Windows Server Umgebungen hinter SQL
- Idealerweise zertifiziert mit Hersteller-Zertifizierungen im Bereich Microsoft Datenbanken
- Idealerweise Inhaber/-in einer Sicherheitsüberprüfung der Bundesrepublik Deutschland auf Stufe 2 (SÜ2)
