Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all fixed asset accounts, including complex setups, transfers, and depreciation schedules.
- Review and audit fixed asset financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Create and analyze accounting entries tied to various capital projects and oversee detailed project cost tracking.
- Handle regulatory reporting requirements and perform complex reconciliations.
- Participate in special projects to streamline asset accounting workflows and improve data integrity.
- Support the broader finance team with detailed analytical data for budgeting and long-term financial planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is REQUIRED.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is MANDATORY (Official transcripts will be requested).
- Minimum of five (5) or more years of professional accounting experience is required.
- Proven track record of professional stability; candidates with frequent job changes ("job hoppers") will not be considered.
- Background in fixed asset accounting, budgeting, or SOX compliance is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Advanced Excel expertise and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-centric environment.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials or similar enterprise-level platforms is a significant plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technical communication skills.
