Senior Accountant overseeing accounting operations, vendor management, and financial reporting. Collaborating closely with the Accounting Manager to support company growth.
Responsibilities
Own the full Accounts Payable lifecycle from invoice intake through payment, including vendor management, contract tracking, and administration of Corporate Card and T&E programs
Review work performed by the AP Analyst while maintaining accountability for AP accuracy, controls, and process improvements
Serve as primary finance business partner to Marketing, ensuring proper expense classification, accruals, and reporting
Perform key month-end close responsibilities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Own GL areas including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
Maintain monthly bookkeeping for the Canadian and Indian entities and prepare intercompany entries across U.S., Canada, and India entities
Prepare and assist with quarterly / annual tax filings
Support the annual audit by preparing schedules and documentation
Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve processes, and strengthen internal controls
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA designation or equivalent preferred
3-5 years of professional work experience
Highly proficient in Google Sheets/Excel
Direct ERP experience required, NetSuite preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, and professional judgment, with exposure to US GAAP as an asset
Prior experience with B2B SaaS business models or experience working in a high growth environment preferred
Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals, with a proactive approach to tasks
Critical thinker capable of anticipating and overcoming obstacles, open to exploring alternative solutions
Exceptional attention to detail, with outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
