About the role
- Buyer for technical materials managing procurement processes and supplier management at Vetter Pharma. Handling technical questions, market analysis, and digitalizing purchasing processes.
Responsibilities
- You are the central point of contact, internally and externally, for the procurement of technical materials.
- You oversee the entire procurement process and are responsible for conducting tenders as well as for price and contract negotiations in award cases.
- You coordinate the preparation of specifications and clarify technical questions with the relevant specialist departments.
- You are responsible for conducting market, price and cost analyses for defined product categories and for developing corresponding category strategies.
- You participate in supplier management (including supplier evaluation, risk management and onboarding of new suppliers).
- You help shape the digitalization and automation of procurement processes.
- You create purchase orders in SAP and record order confirmations.
Requirements
- You hold a completed technical or business degree or a commercial/technical vocational qualification.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in an industrial environment.
- Good English skills for communication with international suppliers.
- Ideally, you have experience with SAP and e-procurement.
- Strong communication skills and negotiation aptitude.
